Childhood Lead information from the NJ Department of Health
There is no safe level of lead in the human body. Children under 6 and fetuses are at particular risk of lead exposure, and exposure to lead during these developmental years may lead to serious long-term complications. Please review these resources from the NJ Department of Health. You can also call the 24/7 Health Hotline for the state with any questions on lead at 1-866-448-2432.
